A new independent poll conducted by Insightrix Research highlights one half (53%) of Saskatchewan residents say the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation is important to them personally. This is consistent with a similar poll we conducted in October 2023. Those of indigenous ancestry, females, younger and middle-aged residents and those living in Regina and Saskatoon are more likely to hold the Day in high importance.
